Michael Johnson: Requital for Tenor Trombone and Piano

Requital is my first concerto for tenor trombone and still my most substantial work to date. Written for Dr. Jonathan Whitaker at the University of Alabama, each movement is based on a different year of my undergraduate studies (mvt. 1 = freshman year, etc.), and represents a variety of elements, events, and emotions from each year. Performance time for the work is roughly 15 minutes.
