Alex Knutrud holds degrees from Ithaca College and Boston University, having done formal studies with Toby Oft and Jeff Gray. Alex has performed with both the Southwest Florida Symphony and the Bangor Symphony Orchestra, as well as with many other ensembles as a guest. Alex is a dedicated educator, and maintains a private trombone studio, as well as appears regularly as a guest clinician at universities and high schools throughout the United States.
